Phaser World Issue 244

In partnership with

The agent didn't slow down this week. ๐Ÿ‘พ

Full physics engine, a massive 3D renderer upgrade, Web export, and if you've been meaning to connect your AI tool via MCP, the setup guide is finally here.

Let's go. ๐Ÿš€

Describe the 3D world you've been imagining. Here's what the agent can build now ๐ŸŒŠ

The 3D renderer just got a major upgrade. Describe a rolling ocean and the agent builds real water with waves and reflections. Ask for a forest and you get thousands of trees โ€” dense, alive, and fast. Lightning arcs between tesla coils, magic spell circles spin under casters, god rays stream through windows, and spatial audio puts every sound exactly where it should be.

Just describe the world you want. The agent handles the art, the lighting, the effects โ€” everything ๐ŸŒ

Box3D physics is here. Describe it, and watch it fall, swing and tumble ๐Ÿ’ฅ

There's now a full physics engine built into the agent. Describe a tower of crates and it holds itself together โ€” until something hits it, and it comes down properly. Build a working wrecking ball, a conveyor belt factory, or a ring-toss game where the ring has to actually thread onto the pole. Characters can ragdoll, crumple, and tumble. Machines have real hinges and motors.

The full article walks through every mechanic with examples: from carnival games to full character controllers. If this sounds like the game you've been wanting to build, start here.

Built a game? Now export it to the web ๐ŸŒ

You already knew about Windows, Linux, and macOS. This week we added Web (HTML5). One click, packaged in the cloud: a zip you can upload to itch.io, drop into your own site, or host anywhere. No tools needed on your end. Your game, ready to share with anyone ๐Ÿ“‚

How to connect Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot to the agent ๐Ÿ”Œ

Last week we told you about MCP support. This week, here's exactly how to set it up. Paste one command into your terminal. It installs the CLI, signs you in, and writes the config automatically. Then tell your agent to build a game: it generates the code, art and music, and sends you a play URL. The whole thing, done โ˜‘๏ธ

Works with Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Codex, Gemini CLI, and Windsurf. Free to set up. From $0.01/min of build time.

How owning AI deployment expands your career

Across product, ops, and CX teams, a new kind of role is taking shape: the person responsible for making AI actually work, day to day.

On July 16, three people living this shift join a live roundtable: Simone Santiago Broad (Yoco), Yelva Espinoza (Zumba Fitness), and Fin's Dave Lynch. You'll hear what the job really looks like across industries, how they carved out these roles, the skills they'd hire for, and the challenges they're tackling now. Bring your questions, since the best moments happen live.

Register for the roundtable to save your spot.

ยป Game+Interview: Turing Complete, a first Phaser game built during a jam

Ansell Maximilian had never built a Phaser game before. Thirteen days later he had base building, tilemaps, a custom battle minigame, and an ode to Alan Turing. This interview breaks down how he pulled it off.

ยป Game: Helbreath Base Game, open source 2D MMORPG template

A full playable client and authoritative multiplayer server for building browser RPGs with Phaser 3. Maps, monsters, combat, inventory, spells. It's all there. MIT licensed and ready to fork.

๐Ÿ“ฉ 20,000 Devs Want to See What You've Built

Games, tutorials, tools, videos. If you made it with Phaser, we want to feature it. Completely free, always. Drop us a line and let's get it in front of them ๐Ÿ‘‡

Happy coding and see you next week! ๐Ÿฆ†
